In this workshop, Linda will share concepts from her yoga therapy training that she has found to be very useful in working with students and with her own body to create more freedom of movement, stability and ease. Over time injuries, poor movement patterns and daily stresses can change the alignment of the body. These habitual patterns then become our “norm” and we forget how to move with optimal alignment and ease. These patterns cause us to use more “effort” while creating muscle tightness and even pain. In this workshop, learn how to address these habitual patterns and re-educate your body and brain to provide more neuromuscular ease and reduce tightness and pain while increasing efficiency of movement

  • Concepts to understand the relationship between the nervous system and habitual muscular responses
  • Identify and re-educate habitual patterns of stress in the physical and emotional body
