Yoga Therapy for Individuals (privates)
appointments are Available
• in person with Covid protocols
• online via Skype or Zoom
Private instruction or 1-on-1 yoga therapy provides an opportunity to work one on one with Linda Troutman, C-IAYT to address your needs.
I assists people in recovering from illness, surgery, and injury. I offer tools to ease physical and emotional suffering from chronic illness, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and trauma, allowing you to move with more ease, obtain greater health, and live more joyfully.
Over the course of your initial appointments, I’ll design a home practice for you that incorporates breath, movement and simple meditation. Sequences are written out so you leave with your personal yoga practice in hand, developed to support your healing process. Each practice is highly-individualized and allows you to progress gradually and carefully from one stage to the next.
It takes time to integrate new habits and to see the effects. Linda recommends a commitment of 4 sessions for new students.
Your initial appointments include:
INITIAL ASSESSMENT
To understand why you are coming and what needs you may have.
DEVELOPING YOUR PRACTICE
In which Linda designs a home practice for you that incorporates breath, movement and simple meditation.
CONTINUING GROWTH
These sessions provide time for further instruction and refinement of the practice.
Students are strongly encouraged to practice at home. Your daily practice is central to the process and serves to empower you through a process of self-inquiry and the development of effective skills and sustainable habits so you establish good patterns of balance, health and peace of mind.
Each appointment is 1 hour.
Payment
Appointments are $100/hour
Package of 4 privates = $360 (savings of $40)
Minimum 24-hour cancelation required. If you cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you will be charged 50% of the private lesson.

I utilize an integrated approach with my students which is influenced most profoundly by somatic and therapeutic yoga practices.
